Mini Camp (Kids 6-10)
In 1-hour sessions, kids will learn how to safely handle miniature horses and miniature donkeys—leading, grooming, groundwork, and barn basics—while practicing real life skills like boundaries, focus, calm communication, and kind leadership.
WHY MINIATURE HORSES?
Mini horses and donkeys are small in size but powerful teachers. Their feedback is immediate and honest—kids learn how to approach, ask, and listen. We keep the pace slow, clear, and safe, so children can practice presence and responsibility while building trust.
Horse Skills:
Safe approach + awareness around animals
Leading and handling (with confidence, not force)
Grooming + basic care
Understanding body language
Simple groundwork games that build partnership
Life Skills:
Boundaries and respectful leadership
Calm communication
Patience + focus
Empathy + responsibility
Confidence through consistency
WHAT WE PRACTICE
LED BY EXPERIENCE
This series is led by Jean Schmidt, a trainer with 40+ years of experience. Our approach is horse-first and relationship-driven: clear requests, kind correction, and consistent routines—so kids learn to lead with steadiness and respect.

Mini Camp Cancellation Policy
Because Mini Camps are intentionally small (only 4 spots), enrollment is limited and we will keep a waitlist.
All registrations are non-refundable. Your payment reserves a spot that we hold specifically for your child.
If you need to cancel, you may request a transfer to another child (friend/sibling) with written notice at least 7 days before the first session, subject to age eligibility and waiver completion.
If we are able to fill your spot from our waitlist after you cancel, we can offer a credit (not a refund) toward a future Mini Camp or qualifying program. Credits are issued only if the spot is filled.
No credits or refunds are available for missed sessions, illness, scheduling conflicts, weather-related closures (we’ll communicate make-up options if offered), or cancellations made within 7 days of the first session.
