Blue Creek Equestrian is looking for a local instructor to teach beginner and intermediate riders at our boutique barn in Evergreen, Colorado. Lessons take place in an indoor arena with excellent footing. Our centered riding approach welcomes different disciplines, and our horses’ well-being comes first.
We currently teach about seven lessons a week, with no more than three lessons on any day while lesson-horse availability is limited. Teaching days are negotiable. We provide a lesson horse, and instructors with a suitable horse of their own are welcome to apply.
Applicants must carry their own liability insurance. Reduced horse board may be available for an instructor-owned horse, subject to space and a separate boarding arrangement.
❋ Pay: $30–$50 per hour, depending on the teaching and horse arrangement.

❋ Timing: We plan a handover on or after October 23 and hope to have the instructor teaching by October 26. Earlier lessons may be possible if new students are ready.
